A small Good-Bye, and big Thanks, to May Ibrahim

Yesterday, we had a farewell coffee break with our BSc thesis project student May Ibrahim. In half a semester, May managed to get an impressive amount of biochemistry done on a relatively new and unexplored project in our lab. Not only was her lab work excellent, but her written report and final presentation were equally impressive. And then to the coffee break, where May brought some home-baked pastry…. of absolutely extraterrestrial quality! They were indeed as good as they look, and it wasn’t the first time she made our jaws drop with her baking. Thanks, May!

Luckily, we don’t need to say a very final goodbye to May since she will do a summer research project in another group in our department (that of Ronnie Berntsson). See you around!
