First meeting of the VIREMic* groups

We recently spent two beautiful autumn days at Rosersbergs Castle outside Stockholm in the first workshop for a new collaborative research project. With generous funding from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and the Swedish Research Council, we are six research groups that will keep meeting for the coming five-to-six years to jointly develop our research on membrane-bound virus replication. The groups’ areas of expertise range from animal models, through biophysics and structural biology all the way to mathematical modelling. Looking forward to the coming years together with the groups of Anna Överby (Umeå), Richard Lundmark (Umeå), Ben Murrell (KI), Gerry McInerney (KI) and Andreas Carlson (Oslo).
