Good bye, Mattias

Mattias Pernebrink has just become historical as the first person to receive a degree based on work done in our group. He just finished his MSc thesis in Molecular Biology on the topic of alphaviral non-structural proteins. In a project that turned out to be more challenging than either of us thought, Mattias did an incredible job of systematically overcoming several challenges and managed to get really solid results. He is now moving on to a research technician position in the group of Claudio Cantù at Linköping University, while looking for international PhD student positions in the field of developmental biology.

Mattias, you will be missed by everyone – both for your skills and dependability in the lab and for being a great colleague with a talent for creating a positive atmosphere in the lab. Good luck on your future endeavours!
