Last week we said good bye to our Erasmus+ student Lara Rohleder from Freiburg. The Erasmus+ programme offered her the nice possiblity to explore another research direction after her MSc thesis was finished, and we are happy that she decided to come to us in Umeå. Lara used her time well: she learnt virology and cryo-electron tomography – and secured herself a PhD student position in the lab of Hans-Georg Kräusslich in Heidelberg!
